AZS33# The AZS fused cast refractory class containing 33% ZrO2. It is the most versatile and widely used of the three AZS compositions. It has the lowest ZrO2 concentration among AZS refractories, yet it offers excellent corrosion resistance to soda lime glass melts. What is more, it have low potential for stoning, blistering and exudation of the matrix glass. Therefore, it is most suitable for superstructures of melters, side walls of refiners, paving blocks, and forehearth channel blocks.
